Frequently Asked Questions

We're sure there are many questions, here are some answers to some of the more common ones, if you have a question not shown here, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us, please find our details on our contact page.

Q. "How high will LocknLevel lift my caravan?"
A. Both the single axle and the twin axle model can lift over 150 mm(6+”), both dependent upon the weight of your caravan.

Q. "What surfaces can the product be used on?"
A. Grass, Gravel or Hard standing. We do however recommend the use of a mat to prevent possible damage from sharp objects.

Q. "Is there a caravan weight limit with LocknLevel?"
A. No. The only limiting factor is the maximum inflation pressure of 30 psi (2 bar), this must NEVER be exceeded.

Q. "Can I leave my LocknLevel in place during the winter?"
A. Yes. As long as you leave it deflated. All components on your LocknLevel are able to withstand the weather! You should also make sure that it is on a suitable piece of mat to prevent damage by stones and sharp objects etc.

Q. "Is the LocknLevel system suitable for use on Campervans or Motorhomes?"
A. No. In it's present form we cannot recommend LocknLevel for use with motor homes. The lack of steadies at each corner results in an uncomfortable amount of 'Bounce' of the Motorhome. We are however developing a system for motor homes. Watch this space!

Q. "How do I fit the locks on a twin axle when the LocknLevel is being used on the offside?"
A. The least expensive way would be to use a plank or ramps to raise the offside slightly too high, then with the LocknLevel in place under the nearside, fit the wheel locks and inflate it to compensate. Alternatively, and much easier, use a second, single axle LocknLevel on the nearside to fit the locks and then leave it deflated under the wheel. We offer a discounted price for both Twin and Single models when purchased together. We call this our 'Combo Pack'.
