Working with two very experienced 5ers we have developed the LocknLevel Hi-5.

Unlike conventional caravans the fifth wheel coupled trailer home is not built on a normal AlKo or BPW chassis. The commercial chassis meant that the axle centres were further apart and our normal twin axle model was not long enough to allow its use in a safe and secure manner. Additionally, these vehicles do not use any wheel locks. This meant that the valve arrangement used on our twin axle model to allow the fitment of the AlKo and BPW wheel locks was not required.

As these trailers are considerably heavier than any conventional caravan the testing was carried out using two different vehicles (see photographs). Happily, both were lifted easily by their owners using the Hi-5, who have subsequently endorsed the product and now use their Hi-5’s whenever levelling is needed.

The Hi-5 Lock ’n’ Level comes complete with an instruction manual, spare valve caps and its own convenient storage bag. The Lock 'n' Level is fitted with standard car tyre connections. The only other thing you will need is a standard tyre pump.

The Hi-5 weighs 5kg and can lift a 3500 kg '5er' up to 6” (150 mm) high and anywhere in between.

The size, when packed in its storage bag is 33 x 25 x 10cm (13.5" x 10" x 4"). The size , when laid out ready to use is 33 x 180cm (13.5" x 71”).

The Hi-5 is made using materials that are designed to provide a long service life. The envelope is made from UV stabilised nylon reinforced polypropylene the steel components are all zinc plated, the valves are nickel plated brass and the bolts are all stainless steel.
